The South Dural land has a total area of 240ha. and of this, the SouthDural Residents and Ratepayers Group collectively owns a majority of land. More importantly, the Group gave support of approximately 80% of all the landowners to lodge the Planning Proposal. 

A preliminary Structure Plan was prepared as part of the South DuralResidents and Ratepayers Group proposal to the Hornsby Shire Council to have the land rezoned, which provides a mix of residential, education, employment, and retail uses.
